Fantastic app, but the move to auto-renew Pro is sleezy

Pro user here, great application, great updates over the years, but with the move to auto-renew subscriptions, I feel they have taken a serious turn in the wrong direction. It should be an opt-in program - not the default. What prevents the developer from raising the fee if it silently auto-renews. Again, great product, but completely TARNISHED by the auto-renew feature.
