Im Canadian, Alberta to be specific. I would like to see more info on the maps such as roads, lakes and rivers. A satellite layer showing cloud cover would be very helpful as well. Other than that, EC needs to update our radar network.

Otherwise great app. Could be much more useable if it included good maps for stormchasing. Hate switching between apps to make decisions on how to intercept

In my opinion this app needs several improvements to be useful for the price. I honestly dont get it why everyone thinks this is worth the money. Notable issues for me... 1) should be able to get a composite of several radar sites for longer range forecasts. 2) needs a better overlay of street map data. There are several open mapping options that could allow better pinpointing of activity. 3) Radar resolution still seems low to me. Is this what paying for gives you in terms of radar resolution? Programs like "storm" seem just as good from a precipitation perspective. 4) having to pay a yearly subscription for 20 frames of animation is ridiculous. That should be included in the base product. 5) would like to see other overlays such as satellite cloud cover, etc. I get it that this is primarily a radar viewing program, but it would be nice to have this show real-world conditions as an option.

Dont buy if you are looking for radar outside US. :-(

This app is expensive and not worth it. They try and get you to by the pro version with a yearly $10 fee by limiting the features in this over priced app. Features like lightning strikes and others that should be standard as it is on all the other radar apps require a subscription. It is not user friendly and you can only choose one radar station at a time. Limited functionality and minimal instruction on a complicated setup. You can choose 12 or so different type of radar returns that basically show the same thing and there is no explanation on how to set any of it up. Buy Hi-Def Radar or some other app instead. Im super disappointed.

This is one of the best radar apps available IMO. It scales perfectly whether you are on your iPhone, or on IPAD Pro. The publisher keeps improving and adding features each version - so also well supported.

I have been involved with Weather emergency management for over 15 years this app is still one of the best on the market.

Most of the storm is above their "tilt 4". Adding the remaining elevation scans should be their highest priority in the next update.

I dont care for apps that change and start charging a yearly fee for the pro version - a fee you agree to if you renew next time - by renewing you then agree to be automatically charged from then on.

This isnt a generic weather app, it isnt giving forecasts, weather features like fronts, or more sophisticated plots like CAPE, Theta-e or moisture convergence … It doesnt provide temperature, dew point, wind direction, humidity or other details. What it does provide, via itself & add-on features is real-time NEXRAD level 3 data … as in weather radar data … in every format available to forecast meteorologists; plus overlays for pinpoint locations (you can add your address and others to the map), lightning data, counties, and highways. It also draws precise weather warning polygons, drafted by SPC (Storm Prediction Center) and or local office meteorologists - so you can tell exactly the places in danger (although it has no weather altering feature). This app is not designed for the casual weather curious person, for that try out "MyRadar" which does offer very decent radar, satellites & forecast data. This application provides THE BEST radar data available for an iPhone or iPad, that is invaluable to Storm Chasers, field meteorologists, and weather spotters. Also, If you know how to read this data, it could save your life as it shows an accurate description of severe weather.

Ive bought all the top radar apps, but this is really the best. The user interface is the easiest and most intuitive Ive used. The updates are frequent and well thought out. Its just the best info and the best value

I purchased the PRO. Version because its worth it. There are some many maps to view that you really should get a basic understanding of of topics like Hydrometer classification, relative storm velocity, etc. I had to look up what some units meant (dBz) I highly recommend it especially the pro version.

This app provides the most accurate and up to the minute radar feeds of any app Ive seen and used in the field. It gives the true radar view from NOAA, not a cartoonish simplification radar seen in other major name weather apps. I hesitated because of the price, but I use this app almost more than any other on my phone, and has more than paid for itself averting disaster with the updated radar feeds. Customer support is better than any other app, or company, Ive dealt with. Had a small issue (turned out to be user error) so sent an email, expecting to hear back 24-48 hours, they responded in less than 10 minutes with a full explanation on how to fix the problem. Was also not a canned response email, was unique and tailored to my situation. Their support response prompted me to write the review, first review of 100s of apps Ive used since the App Store launched. Cannot go wrong with RadarScope. Also, the Pro features are definitely worth it with lightning data and split screen alone.

Simply the best professional radar app out there!

Always loved thiS app. Have to admit the "auto renewal" scared me to death. While Im suRe Ill renew again aS I have done befoRe. It needs to be MY choiCe. And after emailing I waS aSsured there iS an "opt out" of auto renewal. All iS right with the RadarScope World again.

This is not a weather forecasting app. This does not provide huge radar mosaics. This app provides the most up to date, raw radar products available from NEXRAD and Terminal Doppler sites across the country. While this can be overwhelming for a novice the app explains beautifully what each of the radar products are and has all the tools a professional could hope for. It is well worth the price to upgrade to Pro. If youre serious about weather or just curious, this is one app you absolutely must have !!!

Pro user here, great application, great updates over the years, but with the move to auto-renew subscriptions, I feel they have taken a serious turn in the wrong direction. It should be an opt-in program - not the default. What prevents the developer from raising the fee if it silently auto-renews. Again, great product, but completely TARNISHED by the auto-renew feature.
